Meri Meri has collaborated with renowned New York–based artist and designer John Derian on a winter collection infused with magic and seasonal charm.

Mushrooms are a hallmark of his work, giving these party crackers a classic yet current look. Featuring tones of red, white, pink and gold, crepe paper details and ruffled ends team with sumptuous velvet bows for an elegant finish. Each is topped with a beautifully embellished mushroom design, creating a luxurious look with a fairytale touch. Inside each is a gold foil paper crown, a joke and a metal pin badge, perfect as a keepsake to remember this special occasion.

Founded in 1989, the John Derian Company is celebrated for its handcrafted decoupage, created by artisans in its New York City studios. Derian began his career with a small collection of handmade plates, building a practice that blends historical illustration with a modern, whimsical sensibility.


Derian's work has since expanded to collaborations with international brands across stationery, ceramics and furniture, and is sold at his Manhattan stores and select boutiques worldwide. The John Derian Picture Book, published in 2016, became a New York Times bestseller, followed by Picture Book II.
