About the Role

We are seeking a commercially driven Global Head of eCommerce to lead e-commerce and marketplace sales across all markets. Reporting to the CEO, this person will be an important member of the executive team and instrumental in growing our direct-to-consumer business. 
You’ll oversee the acquisition, SEO, SEM, Display, Affiliate, and SMS channels, as well as e-commerce operations, who will oversee site merchandising, on-site search, UX/UI, development, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities
• Orchestrate all aspects of a strategic e-commerce plan. Combine existing expertise in sales, marketing, technology and management to deliver a superior brand and shopping experience for all customers across multiple channels.
• Lead a team of cross functional ecommerce specialists focusing on execution of business strategies with an emphasis on collaboration and inclusivity.
• Develop market-by-market annual and quarterly trading / commercial sales plans - and be accountable to operationalise these plans.
• Manage execution of the business P&L & profit contribution growth aligned to defined annual plans.
• Manage Gross Profit $ and % across, driving the right segment / product / price & promotions management.
• Be accountable for ambitious eCommerce top-line sales revenue targets across US, UK and EU, through change-the-business initiatives and innovating on routes to market.
• Support innovative online campaigns, big bets focus, driving merchandising excellence with web content & improving website conversion programs

Requirements:

 • 10+ years of previous eCommerce experience in multiple countries, across multiple platforms – with full sales-revenue / P&L ownership
• Strong experience in managing teams of eCommerce experts, with a strong emphasis on commercial sales and business management
• Track record of definition and successful execution of significant eCommerce growth strategies (operations, sales planning, business development) across multi-country markets
• Good understanding of online environments & web platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, etc)
• Ability to lead and develop future team leaders.
• Ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholder executives, and foster team spirit amongst both direct reports and broader stakeholder community
• Ability to drive strategy and change (e.g., new go-to-market models, new processes) while implementing, analyzing and reporting on numerous concurrent eCommerce projects
• Analytical skills and experience in applying data & insights to make decisions

Meri Meri is an award-winning global children’s lifestyle brand that specialises in high end party products, accessories, play and home.

We are looking for a social media savvy person to help us create on-brand video content. Content includes product focused reels, during shooting reels and BTS.

The ideal candidate will be London based (or can travel to London) for a specific project  – You will be on set with our Meri Meri shoot team on the 28th and 29th of Sept.

Depending on this project outcome, there’s scope to work on more temporary projects with us at our Cheltenham based studio or future location shoots.

This role is perfect for a junior level candidate who has some good experience in creating contents for brands. This will be a great opportunity to build your portfolio and progress in your career.

You will be/have:

- Good experience on set

- A strong understanding of commercial content creation (i.e.lifestyle & fashion e-co retail)

- Able to provide a plan of content shooting

- Confidence around children and on-set.

- Creative

- Reactive to a situation and able to be flexible with change of plans

Note on portfolio: if you are unable to show children lifestyle/ fashion related works, please include research to showcase your understanding of children’s brand video content and what you could do on our photoshoot.

The interview will be conducted over Microsoft Teams video call with the Shoot Manager. The shortlisted candidates will need to be able to provide an outline of the content creation plan for the 2 day photoshoot (you will receive instruction after being shortlisted).

The 2 day project will be on a day rate of £110 with one day prep (content planning), lunch included. 9.30 - 5.30. You will be working closely with the Meri Meri photoshoot manager.

The Role 

We are seeking a Global Inventory Planner who will work across all channels to optimise our inventory levels across UK, US and EU warehouses.  You will ensure our customers have access to the products they need.  You will report to the VP of Global Inventory Planning and will be the key point of contact for inventory between warehouse, ecommerce, wholesale, finance, production and logistics.  

About You 

You are a sharp, analytically minded critical thinker who excels at building strong relationships with stakeholders across a variety of functions.  You enjoy looking for ways to optimize inventory efficiencies and identifying commercial opportunities within the organization.  You are a self-starter who likes to roll up your sleeves and get involved with the business.  

Key Responsibilities  

Demand forecasting: Analyse current inventory levels, lead times, demand forecasts goals to recommend replenishment levels.

Channel allocation: Recommend inventory stock balance transfers between 3 warehouse locations in the UK, US and Netherlands and multiple selling channels (merimeri.com, merimeri.co.uk, amazon, etsy, wholesale, etc).

Warehouse management: Serve as the key point of contact between Meri Meri and our warehouses in the UK and Netherland to provide updates on inbound shipments, internal transfers and demand forecasts. 

Systems management: Drive improvements in the Inventory Planning systems, data, and processes.

ABC Inventory Analysis: Recommend markdown and end-of-life disposition strategies for non-go forward products or overstocked items.

Budget Planning: Coordinate with sales and finance teams to align product planning, margin targets, and revenue plans.

Analysis & Presentation: Prepare and present weekly trade reports, financial plans, forecasts and strategies in key meetings. 

 

Requirements: 

2-3 years dynamic inventory planning and analysis experience in a collaborative, omnichannel organization.

Experience with global supply chain managing inventory across multiple warehouses in multiple countries. 

FMCG experience ideally gained within toy, fashion, or cosmetics.

 Experience creating reports and analysis within an ERP system -  NetSuite preferred.Advanced Excel modelling skills (vlookup, pivot tables, conditional formulas, etc.)

Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.

Highly numerate and analytical with Strong written and verbal communication skills.
