The Creative Way to Correspond

The pandemic has made many of us rethink how to keep in touch with our family and friends, and prompted a return to a more traditional way of corresponding – cards and letters.

So, our fabulous design team have created 2 beautiful cards, with stylish envelopes, for you to make and send. A Happy Birthday card and a Thinking of You card, with pretty 3D paper flowers and a colorful pop-up rainbow. Go on, make someone’s day!

Special Cards To Make

Simply print off the card and envelope designs and put them together for a wonderful effect. Each card has a coloring option if you want to make it even more of a craft project.

You Will Need (for both cards):

• Printer
• Paper/Card (if you use paper you may want to glue it on onto a thin card)
• Scissors
• Glue/Double sided tape
• (Optional) Pencils or pens to use on the coloring version.

Fantastic 3D Flower Bouquet Card

This delightful card, with its vibrant design, is perfect to send to granny or to family and friends.

Step 1: Print and cut out the card, the flowers, leaf, bouquet wrap, and either the ‘Thinking of You’ or ‘Happy Birthday’ greeting.

Step 2: Fold the card in half.

Step 3: Fold the sides of the bouquet wrap in and secure to make your cone shape.

Step 4: Use the dashed position guides on the face of the card to help you stick the bouquet wrap and the greeting in the correct place.

Step 5: Start to layer up the flowers. Stick the middle of the reverse down enabling you to tease up the petals a bit. One daisy folds in half, stick one half down so the other half lifts slightly.

Step 6: Glue or tape the side flaps of the envelope.

Step 7: Fold them back, then fold up the back section to stick to them. Once your card is inside, stick the top flap down and you are ready to send.

Pop-Up Rainbow Card

Rainbows are such a powerful message of hope in these difficult times, so this card featuring one, along with a smiling sun peeping out from behind the clouds, will be gratefully received by anyone needing a pick-me-up.

Step 1: Print and cut out the greetings card, and choose the message you want to use – ‘Hello’, ‘Thinking of You’ or ‘Happy Birthday’. Don’t forget to cut out underneath the rainbow.

Step 2: Fold the card in half so the clouds meet up exactly. Open the card back up.

Step 3: Fold in half again, but this time tuck the rainbow down inside the card so you can’t see it at all when the card is closed. Open the card to see the rainbow pop up.

Step 4: Stick your ‘Hello’ greeting to the front of the card.

Step 5: Open the card and stick down your inside greeting of ‘Thinking of You’ or ‘Happy Birthday’.

Step 6: Glue or tape the side flaps of the envelope.

Step 7: Fold them back and then fold up the back section to stick to them. Once your card is inside, stick the top flap down and you are ready to send.
