Customer Service Representative 

Meri Meri is an award-winning product design company based in the centre of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and outgoing individual to join our small, dedicated and friendly UK sales team as a Customer Service Representative.

Responsibilities

  • Managing incoming calls and emails 
  • Data entry
  • Handling wholesale and retail queries 
  • Capturing new customer leads and forwarding necessary information to our sales team
  • Processing returns and issuing credits 
  • Admin support to account managers
  • Build strong relationships with our customers to provide the best customer service experience possible
  • Special projects 

Requirements 

  • Experience in a customer service or client facing role a plus
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail with strong follow through
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Enjoying being part of a team, as well as having the drive to work on your own initiative
  • Experience with SAP desirable but not required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Positive energy and attitude

This is a full-time position. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience. Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Online Photography
& Product Stylist

We are looking for a super-creative product/ set/ photography stylist to join our design team based in our friendly studio in Cheltenham. You will use innovative and on-brand styling to bring the world of Meri Meri to life online.

Responsibilities

  • Create and style product and lifestyle shots to showcase 
  • our designs in their best light
  • Style elaborate scenes for themed parties, how-to tutorials and lifestyle stories
  • Present product images to our studio manager for review and sign-off
  • Provide different shots for different platforms including wholesale and retail websites, newsletters and social media
  • Work as part of a studio team to meet tight deadlines
  • Communicate workflow statuses to studio manager
  • Good balance of hitting targets and creative flair
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

Skills and Experience

  • Previous in-house styling experience for a lifestyle brand
  • Experience working with and take direction from web manager, studio manager and creative director
  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of lifestyle brands, 
  • trends, art and fashion
  • Experience of being a member of a busy and 
  • growing team of creative people
  • Art Degree or equivalent
  • Experience shooting a high-volume of images 
  • for e-commerce
  • Understanding of the needs of the business from 
  • both a creative and production perspective

Graphics Artworker

We are looking for a talented and committed artworker to join our Graphics department in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
Typical, day-to-day tasks will include artworking seasonal catalogues, packaging and creating brand assets for print and screen. You will be working with a team of graphic designers and content managers.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with editorial and catalogue layouts
  • Preparing catalogues for print
  • Working with our product information system to co-ordinate product and range graphics
  • Image retouching
  • Website layouts
  • Typography skills
  • Producing flawless artwork for all kinds of print and digital applications
  • Providing production advice to the design team is a bonus

Skills and Experience

  • Highly trained in all Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Bridge and Illustrator
  • At least 2 years experience in a busy design studio
  • Ability to use e-commerce CMS software including Shopify and Wordpress is a bonus as training will be given
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills is key
  • Work flexibly to tight deadline
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Ability to learn new software and practices

Multidisciplinary / Textile illustration / Product Designer, ideally with a background in fine art, illustration or textiles, to join our busy design studio in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

Artworker

We are an award winning product design studio based in the centre of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and currently looking for someone to join our busy pre-press department.

As well as preparing digital print work for manufacture, you will also spend time creating handmade samples. 

You will have a love for our products, a keen eye for detail, have nimble fingers and be good with a scalpel!

You will have a head for problem solving and an inquisitive nature which will help you work out how we make new products.

Although full training will be given, you will have some experience of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and be familiar with Mac OS. Textile experience would also be an advantage.

UK/EU Key Account Executive

Meri Meri is an award-winning children’s lifestyle brand that specialises in high end party, accessories, play and home. We are looking for a Key Account Executive to join our small but expanding sales team based in Cheltenham. The position is a junior role, you will be working with the Key Account Manager to maintain an exceptional customer experience for our existing large and multi-site key customers throughout the UK and EU regions. The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail and administrative experience in a similar industry, with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Represent Meri Meri with a positive and friendly can-do attitude
  • Enter sales orders accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Understand the individual needs for each key account and ensure customer satisfaction (problem solving)
  • Maintain/update customer files and complete paperwork thoroughly and promptly
  • Engage in business development and business prospecting activities
  • Follow the company’s GDPR policies and adhere to customer confidentiality
  • Proactively support the Key Account Manager and perform all other duties as assigned 

Qualifications / experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 1-2 years in a customer service or client facing role, ideally with some sales experience
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Experience of SAP desirable but not required
  • Good attention to detail
  • A friendly, outgoing manner and a keen desire to learn and progress within the role
